REPUBLIC ACT 8293, otherwise known as The Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines, clearly provides that original creations of photographic works and works produced by a process analogous to photography are covered by copyright.
-The transfer or sale of the sole copy of the work does not necessarily imply transfer of the copyright, in the absence of clear intention to the contrary.
As a rule, COPYRIGHT belongs to the author of the work/ PHOTOGRAPHER OF A PHOTOGRAPH.
The photographer has the sole right, AMONG THE OTHERS.EVEN PAID.(even on TV shows and movies! YOU WILL ALWAYS SEE THE DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY as a CREDIT)he/she has the right to require that authorship of the work should be attributed to him/her.

since PHOTOGRAPHY is almost everyone's passion here in multiply, i would like to share a story of a friend and how she encountered UNPROFESSIONALISM towards her co-workers!
-i made this blog not to TALK AGAINST OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS!
-i made this for us to learn and always punctual!
-i made this for us to be aware about EXCHANGE DEALS.
-i made this for us to be ready in the near future!
Here's how the story goes...
(she told me not to name names! just PM her if you guys have an idea)
I was suppose to be with her on a shoot, but she can't join us coz she had commited a photoshoot to another photographer, and suddenly, the studio we were supposed to rent was booked the whole day. So we just cancelled it!
I PM-ed her and ask her how was the shoot, and i was shocked when i saw her response..... i always expect, it was great! it was fine! saya! She answered,
UNPRO! I HATE IT!
then i started asking why?what happened?....
The shoot should start around 11am, but due to UNPRO-ism, they texted my friend earlier this morning to say that they'll meet in trinoma by 2pm! and the other girl arrived at 3pm!.....
LOCATION: NAVOTAS!
isn't it far? tsk!
The make-up was done at what time? 6PM!(shooting around this time is really hard! well, she told me the photographer is a PRO! ugh, ok! :D he doesn't know what time management means? goodluck)...
THIS IS THE THING!
- she didn't ate LUNCH for this shoot coz she thought they'll all meet by 2pm!
-she thought that when they arrives at the location there will be foods or water!
She haven't received an offer for a drink, how much will a bottled water cost?20 bucks?30bucks?tsk! and the food.... She actually told her driver to buy food for her and my friend's companion. Then guess what? They just heard it! They told her, (padeliver na lang tayo ate?) waddafuk! So it means, if you haven't heard my friend ask her driver to buy food, you guys wouldn't bother to offer ANYTHING!She ate around 7PM! including her lunch and dinner!(KAWAWA!)and take this.... your model is suffering from a minor disease called GASTRIC ULCER(that when she eat late or rather SUPER LATE meals, she throws up!)
You guys are insane! you ONLY got your BENEFITS from her!and what does she get from you???? FEWshots! without even letting her know if it was a great shot or what?(i know i talk too much, this is for her! for what you did, since she can't blog this out!) That's all!
-When you say EXCHANGE DEALS(exdeal or tfp).As a photographer or as the one who invited your co-workers, You should be responsible enough on taking good care of them!(yung tipong wala silang masasabi about you or sa kahit na sino)
-TAMAAN AY WAG MAGAGALIT! dahil TOTOO!

I got bored so i decided to Blog-in some tips on shooting portraits/glamour shots!
-I KNOW THIS BLOG WILL HELP STUDENT PHOTOGRAPHERS LIKE ME LEARN THE BASICS OF PORTRAITURE AND FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY.I AM NO PRO!I'M JUST SHARING/APPLYING WHAT I LEARNED FROM MS. JOY(mentor) WHEN I ATTENDED TWO OF HER GLAMOUR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP(one in AAV and one in Magallanes Village). The workshop was a bit short for 2 models and for them to have 3 looks each on a given period of time. But if you are very willing to learn PHOTOGRAPHY! every word that comes to her mouth...totally ABSORBED!i swear!
here are some:
PORTRAITURE: (CHILD PORTRAIT)
-IF YOU ARE DOING PORTRAITS OF AN INFANT(0-28 days old) NEVER USE INTERNAL FLASH/EXTERNAL FLASH/STUDIO LIGHTS OR ANYTHING THAT WOULD EMIT HARSH LIGHT.(let us consider the fact that the eyes of an infant is very sensitive when it comes to HARSH LIGHTS, they can be blind)
-IT WOULD BE BETTER TO USE AMBIENT/AVAILABLE LIGHT FOR INFANTS.(just use reflectors give mor elighting effect)
-IF YOU'LL BE POST PROCESSING THE PHOTOS IT WOULD GIVE A DRAMATIC EFFECT IN THE PHOTO IF YOU WILL CONVERT PHOTOS INTO BLACK&WHITE AND SEPIA.
-FOR KIDS(COLORED PHOTOS), IF YOU WILL BE VIGNETTING PHOTOS, ME, MYSELF PREFER TO HAVE A WHITE VIGNETTE.TO GIVE A NOSTALGIC EFFECT ON THE PHOTO.
(FAMILY PORTAIT)
-FOR SMALL FAMILY PORTRAITS(3-4 members), DON'T LET THEM ALL SIT DOWN, GET 2 MEMBERS TO STAND-UP AT THE BACK OF THE OTHER 2 WHO ARE SITTING DOWN. THEN, PUT A HAND ON ONE SIDE OF THE SHOULDER OF A MEMBER WHO IS SITTING DOWN.(same on the other side, JUST TO FORM A TRIANGLE WHICH MEANS CONNECTION ON A PHOTOGRAPH)
-FOR LARGE FAMILY PORTRAITS(5 or more members), SHOW AFFECTION ON THE PHOTO. DO SERIES OF CONNECTIONS LIKE HOLD HANDS,HANDS ON THE OTHER MEMBER'S SHOULDER AND CARRYING BABIES IN THE FAMILY.
-MAKE THE GENERATION SYSTEM EFFECTIVE(like, lolo's and lola's are sitting on chairs.mom's and dad's are standing.APO's are sitting on the floor)
-NEVER SHOOT A FAMILY PORTRAIT WITHOUT HAND CONNECTION, THIS WILL GIVE A VERY UNEFFECTIVE FAMILY PORTRAIT.
FASHION/GLAMOUR PHOTOGRAPHY:
-KEEP YOUR MODEL'S EYE SHARP.
-WHEN A MODEL IS STANDING, NEVER SHOOT HER FROM THE TOP!(he/she would look small)
-PHOTOGRAPHER SHOULD DIRECT MODEL'S POSES(yeah!a photographer is a model/stylist)
-WHEN A MODEL DOES A POSE, AND IT LOOKS AWKWARD, NEVER BE SHY TO CHANGE HER HEAD/CHIN POSITION!(move your head to this side,chin down,chin up....just like that!)
-FIND YOUR MODEL'S BEST ANGLE!
-ALWAYS ASK/DIRECT YOUR MODEL TO EXAGERATE HER POSE.(to give fierce on the photo)
-WHEN A MODEL SMILES, ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT HIS/HER SMILE LOOKS NATURAL.
-WHEN A MODEL'S PURSED LIPS IS NATURAL, NEVER LET HIM/HER POUT/PURSE IT MORE!(this will look a bit trying hard)
-NEVER CUT ELBOWS ON A PORTRAIT!
-NEVER CUT HANDS/FEET ON A PORTRAIT!
-DO NOT GIVE SO MUCH SPACE ABOVE THE MODEL'S HEAD.
-NEVER PUT HARD MAKE-UP ON THE MODEL'S EYE.(this might spoil the sharpness of the eyes)
ORGANIZING A SHOOT:
-DO NOT FORGET TO CONCEPTUALIZE YOUR IDEAS!(on what the model's will look like, what will they wear and how will the shoot goes)
-ON AN EXCHANGE DEAL SHOOT, DON'T FORGET TO ACCOMODATE YOUR MAKE-UP ARTISTS AND DESIGNERS.(like giving them water,treating them major meals and everything you can offer them. REMEMBER, WE ONLY ASKED FOR THEIR HELP/FAVORS.)
-IF YOU HAVE LARGE NUMBER OF PHOTOGRAPHERS, DO NOT FORGET TO MAKE YOUR OWN SYSTEM AND KEEP THE SHOOT AS ORGANIZE AS IT CAN BE.
-DO NOT NAG ON YOU STYLISTS!(be respectful, REMEMBER THEY PUT GLAM ON YOUR PHOTOS)
-ALWAYS INITIATE FOR A PRE-PRODUCTION MEETING WHERE PHOTOGRAPHERS,MODELS AND STYLISTS MEET AND GREET!(talk about the concepts,talk about the clothes, model's nails and hair color, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!TO HAVE A VERY SUCCESSFUL PHOTOSHOOT!)

she stole photos from differrent good photographers claiming the photos are her shots....if you haven't seen the shots of the ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHERS(ash castro and etc..), you may believe that she owns it! because of the following reasons:
-SHE'S VERY GOOD ON ERASING WATERMARKS.
-SHE'S REALLY REALLY GOOD ON CLAIMING SHE OWNS THE PHOTO.... (she replaced a watermark of her BEATIFUL name where the original photographer's name is located!tsk!)
-SHE'S VERY GOOD ON MAKING 1-2 PERSON/S BELIEVE THAT SHE OWNS IT.(very magaling!)
-SHE'S WAY GOOD IN DRAMA!(imagine, she is always ready for a short script on the album's description, on how the shoot happened!)
-SHE'S A BIG THIEF IN THE MULTIPLY SOCIETY!(nakakahiya siya!)

It's not just I who experienced this but this has been going on for a long time. Here's a protocol in getting make-up artists for a gig.1. Save our numbers. Please take our numbers when we give it to you. We give it to you so that in cases where we are not available online or vice versa, you can still reach us. Wag mo ding gawing textmate ang make-up artist. Wag mong bolahin.2. Confirm two days or a day ahead prior to the shoot. Don't leave us hanging and letting us guess if it's pushing through or not. A short text message saying "Hey, tommorow's the shoot. See you!" won't hurt right? Wag matakot magtext. Piso lang naman, diba? May unlitext pa at alltext naman. Issue?3. Give us the Peg prior to the shoot. Don't surprise us what the look is that same day. Haggard ka ate!4. Pro-bono Naku eto na. If it's probono, please carefully list our names, and get it right for credits purposes. Probono na nga mali pa ang contact details namin. Double Haggard!5. TFP and Xdeals Mas haggard! Xdeal is used when you are giving a material thing, not money, to someone for his/her services. Whereas, TFP or Trade for print, exhange of services will be in the form of the finish product of the shoot like pictures for that matter.6. Offer food or drinks Since this is your shoot, offer kahit na tubig man lang kung probono. Kahit plastikin mo lang, of course may pera naman kami noh. Chikahin mo na lang na kunwari "you like water?". The mere concern is priceless.. Dahil if you offer, makakaulit ka pa ng probono sa amin. Guaranteed yan mare!

My whole night is full of sadness,... the moment i found out that my camera(NINI) doesn't behaved well, And so am i. My camera's auto-focus mode is deffective. What makes me so sad???many reasons! here are some:
1. I have a shoot on june5(thursday)...i don't want to use the manual focusing of my system! I s*ck in this thing! and one thing more, i am not comfortable on using it, but i guess i have to practice from tomorow up to wednesday! :c to have better shots on thursday! :D (my co-photographers, please help me!hahaha :D)
2. When im bored, i take picture of my foot/feet to see if which one's whiter and which one's the same with the construction workers outside.(trying to make myself feel better)hahaha! :D
3. If nini will be diagnosed for about 2 weeks...ugh!!! i can't live without my cam! and what i plan during weekends is to shoot actively! :D how will i do that???(nini,pls. i hope you can hear this)
4. How can i organize another shoot if i don't have my own camera???huhuhu! :D
5. I can't sleep if my NINI's not inside my room! :D

I was with my bestfriend yessa,but the original plan was i'm gonna be with yessa and nikki(my sister) to accompany her on her piercing! . . but nikhai was so excited and she decided to get pierced last wednesday! So it was only me and yessa for saturday!it's fine, im just gonna buy some stuffs in makati, and it is not too heavy!
The original plan was we'll just go in Rockwell.....buy my stuffs go back to glorietta...to eat!and walk around Greenbelt5! But we made another plan that would really sound so exciting...hahaha! After i had bought stuffs from my one stop shop(definitely, we'll not allow anyone know this!hahaha ) We decided to go and ride a cab going to BHS, to eat and walk around since it was my 1st time to go there! yeah . . . i know!its gross!haha! We are about to go and buy donuts in Krispy Kreme then probably dine in Stabucks and suddenly,i felt that i want to smoke!so i was like . . . .
Bugsy: Yessa i'll smoke muna!
Yessa: Sure, magtetext lang aq kay cams!

We decided to go and eat in Glorietta(World's Chicken)sobrang sarap!... We almost forgot that we are suppose to be eating in KRISPY KREME!...yes,we did! yessa just reminded me when we are in the cab going to G4...hahaha! This is really crazy...After eating, we walk around the vicinity of Greenbelt! . . .oh no!GB5 is really fabulous, i was like, WOW!  . . . . sobrang amazing! We roam around GB3, but the main subject why do we walk around GB3 is to collect calling cards from the good bars and resto in greenbelt....hahaha!
you guys don't know...YESSA, is planning my 21st birthday!hahaha . . .i'm turning 20 this sept!it means so much to me! and wait,WE ARE REALLY EXCITED!hahahaafter collecting, we just had coffee and the chocolate eclair in starbucks and go back to glorietta to meet ate siey and accompany her...hahaha!i miss her so much!
It was a long long day!

oh well,this was my first time to shoot on a studio and everytime you she your never before seen shots...you want to get better and better!as if you want to own a studio right this time! our call time is around 10am...and i made sure i am really early coz i'll be meeting one of the 2 models for the shoot,and we did it!we arrive on time! i had super great time....made friends with everyone! known ms. asun, sheryl, clarence , miko,sir godo,sir ito,kuya nick ang kuya egay! super laughing trip to its fullest! im just a bit sad, 2 other concepts which came from me and ms. asun wasn't able to be done coz of time!!!! we super need to go to san juanico pool inside the village coz the sun sets already . . . but the concepts are real good!!!
the experience i had is really one of a kind... but i guess i'll be having another one on the 19th!!! . . . .
